A few nights ago, hubby was giving the kids a bath. I was putting some clothes away in the other room and overheard my son say "eeeww, ick" and then hubby got him out of the tub. I heard some mention of "boogers." When hubby walked back in to the bathroom our daugther was saying "eeeww, ick" right as she scooped up a big pile of poo and put it on the bathtub ledge.
My goodness what a process that followed - disinfecting the tub, trying to quarantine the kids so they wouldn't rub the potential film of poo on their bodies on ANYTHING, putting screaming kids back into the tub to rebathe.

Oh yeah...I know that situation all too well. I usually throw them into the shower adjacent to the tub. Fun stuff.

Ah yes, fun times! I had the treat of actually being *in* the tub bathing H and Z when Z pooped in the tub because of Henry's water phobia.
Ooh, that's happened to us a few times too. Though fortunately, most of the time we worked out what was about to happen just in time to whip her out of the bath just as the big brown snake appeared. But we still had to disinfect the tub and the bath toys though...
For a while, Little A's favorite place to poop was the tub. No matter how many times she did the deed before she got in, it never failed.
God, I'm glad that is over.

Ahhh poop in the tub, there is just nothing like it is there? I swear it is like a parenting rite of passage, that we all have to hurdle over once or twice or five times.
